Meet the Makers

Originally from Michigan, this creative pair first met in middle school and began dating in college. They married in 2023 and now reside in Longmont, Colorado, where they continue their journey together with their three beloved cats.

What started as a shared hobby has blossomed into a growing business built on their passion for ceramics. They love working with their hands to craft beautiful, meaningful pieces that bring joy to everyday life. Inspired by the magic of turning raw materials into functional art, they create unique items that add character and warmth to any home.

In their studio, they focus on both functional and statement pieces, meticulously handcrafting each one—whether it’s refined tableware or striking home decor. Their work reflects a deep commitment to the art of handmade ceramics, inviting others to experience the character and quality that only handcrafted items can offer.

Pieces are marked with ‘JQ’ or ‘CB’, depending on the maker.

Caring for your pieces

Each piece is crafted with durability in mind, having been fired to cone 10 in a gas reduction kiln. While these pieces can be used in the microwave and dishwasher, hand washing is preferred to keep them looking their best. Because every item is individually handmade, you may see subtle differences in size, shape, and color, which contribute to their distinctive character.
